Asahi Beverages is currently looking for Brewery Operators to support in the Brewhouse, Filtration, or Transfer process areas contributing to the production of beer. Our team is dedicated and enthusiastic about their work and joining us will allow you develop your skills with the guidance of a supportive team. 

Based at our Abbotsford VIC site for an initial 6-month contract, following a rotating shift roster of 8-hour day, afternoon, and night shifts.

Key responsibilities include

• Monitoring of processes within the Brewhouse, Filtration, or Transfer process areas
• Quality assurance checks and analysis 
• Address and seek solutions for risks or identified quality or process issues
• Carry out scheduled cleaning throughout the process area
• Ensure compliance to workplace health and safety requirements

About you

You'll be a great fit for the role if you have a passion or interest in brewing, in addition to:

• Experience as a process operator in a manufacturing environment
• A positive attitude and desire to learn
• The physical capacity to perform the manual tasks associated with the position, and commitment to safety as a priority in all areas of your work
• The ability to work unsupervised, while being proactive in identifying opportunities to continuously improve the safety, quality and efficiency across your process area and the wider business
• The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
