Due to an internal promotion, we're looking for a Regional Category Manager to join our Procurement team. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a highly visible role where you'll partner with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain leaders, lead complex sourcing initiatives and drive meaningful commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing and delivering category strategies across engineering, maintenance and capital-related spend categories.

You'll lead sourcing projects from end to end, build strong supplier partnerships and work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities that improve performance, manage risk and create long-term value.

This is a role for someone who enjoys solving problems, influencing stakeholders and making things happen.

• Develop and deliver category strategies aligned to business priorities
• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including tendering and negotiation
• Build strong partnerships with Engineering, Manufacturing and Supply Chain teams
• Manage supplier performance, risk and commercial outcomes
• Deliver value through cost optimisation, innovation and continuous improvement
• Support capital projects and strategic procurement initiatives
• Drive sustainable procurement outcomes and supplier innovation
• Challenge existing ways of working and identify smarter solutions

About You

We're looking for someone who brings strong commercial thinking, excellent stakeholder skills and a passion for delivering results.

You may come from:

• Procurement or category management
• Engineering or maintenance environments
• FMCG, manufacturing or industrial operations
• Construction, infrastructure or capital project delivery
• Project procurement or strategic sourcing

You'll likely bring:

• Experience in procurement, sourcing, category management or a related commercial role
• Strong tender management and supplier negotiation skills
• The ability to build credibility with technical stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
• Excellent communication and influencing skills
• A proactive, curious and collaborative approach
