Your Impact

We’re looking for a hands-on Warehouse Team Leader with strong operational and systems knowledge to join our Logistics team at Yatala. In this fast-paced, high-volume FMCG environment, you’ll lead a team of warehouse operators, manage logistics performance, and play a key role in process optimisation.

You’ll be the go-to leader on shift—balancing people management and operational priorities to keep our warehouse running smoothly. Whether it’s supporting your team on the floor, troubleshooting issues, or helping deliver key improvement projects, your leadership will make a tangible difference every day.

Please note: This role involves 12-hour shifts, rotating between days and nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach a team across warehousing and transport functions
• Drive safety, quality and compliance with Chain of Responsibility requirements
• Manage rosters, leave planning and support conflict/performance management
• Oversee warehouse and transport utilisation to improve efficiency
• Support project delivery and continuous improvement initiatives
• Adapt to and support the rollout of new WMS/TMS systems and processes
• Conduct quality checks and champion a safety-first culture

About You

You're a confident and people-focused leader with a passion for developing teams and driving operational excellence. You also bring:

• Proven leadership experience in FMCG warehousing operations
• Ability to navigate conflict resolution and performance management
• Exposure to project work or leading process optimisation initiatives
• Adaptable to learn new systems and processes, and confident in coaching and training others
• Strong computing skills – MS Office, SAP, WMS, and TMS experience beneficial
• Sound knowledge of Chain of Responsibility requirements
• A current forklift licence (or willingness to obtain) is a bonus
