Your Impact

 

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing, providing guidance and support to operational teams to deliver our CoR program and to identify continual improvements for the business.

 

In partnership with the EHS Audit and Assurance Manager, you will develop and deliver the EHS Audit and Assurance Program which includes CoR.  You will also undertake performance reporting and verification activities. Your work will help strengthen our safety culture, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and drive continuous improvement across Environment, Health and Safety.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Conduct and oversee CoR audits to identify improvement opportunities and drive the implementation of programs.
  • Manage external relationships with service providers and suppliers.
  • Champion CoR improvement projects through the capital planning process.
  • Partner with the EHS Audit and Assurance Manager to develop and implement the EHS Audit and Assurance Program.
  • Assess compliance with safety regulations and internal standards, recommending corrective actions.
  • Maintain and support safety management systems, including ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on CoR key performance indicators.
  • Stay up to date with relevant safety regulations and ensure organisational compliance.
  • Support the broader Environment, Health and Safety agenda across the business.

 

About You:

 

  • Formal qualifications in logistics, health and safety (degree preferred)
  • Formal qualification/certification in auditing highly regarded
  • Experienced in Chain of Responsibility and heavy vehicle compliance legislation
  • 5–8 years’ experience within medium to large organisations in COR or EHS
  • Well-developed facilitation, organisational agility, interpersonal skills and change management capability
  • Experience in auditing and/or training is highly regarded
  • Strong working knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations

 

Please note: This role requires regular monthly interstate travel
