Your Impact

As Product Manager - Hardware, you will play a key role in bringing a new consumer household appliance to life. You will lead the full product lifecycle, from concept implementation through to launch and ongoing evolution, working with both internal teams and trusted external partners.

This role sits within the Disruption Team at Asahi, who are tasked with exploring and bringing to life new and innovative opportunities that support and enhance the traditional Asahi offerings. This is an opportunity to deliver the existing design and shape the future vision of an innovative new to world product.

You will firsthand support the delivery of the existing product design, define the future roadmap, contribute to the design and user experience optimisation, and ensure the product remains commercially and operationally best-in-class. It’s a hands-on, fast-paced role for someone who has an agile and entrepreneurial mindset and thrives in ambiguity and is excited to work on something truly new.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end to end lifecycle of a physical product from early development through to commercial launch
  • Define the product vision and roadmap based on customer needs, market insights and commercial goals
  • Work closely with teams across sales, marketing, operations and compliance to ensure alignment and delivery
  • Manage relationships with external development and manufacturing partners to ensure timelines, quality and continuous improvement
  • Monitor product performance post-launch and plan for future enhancements or iterations

About You

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, ideally in an engineering or product design discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience in consumer electronics/household appliance product development, product management or related technical role.
  • You have experience managing physical products from idea through to market launch
  • You have worked in innovation, product development or commercialisation roles where collaboration and pace were essential
  • You have a strong understanding of how physical products are designed, built and delivered – a definite advantage if it involves fluidics – even if you are not an engineer
  • You are comfortable working with external partners to bring products to life
  • You think commercially and can balance customer needs with feasibility and delivery constraints
  • You are curious, action oriented and confident working in a fast moving environment where things are not always defined

If you are excited by the idea of building something from scratch and delivering real impact, we would love to hear from you.
