Your Impact

We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Brewery Technician to join our team in Yatala, QLD. As a Brewery Technician, you will work closely with a team of production operators to support in day-to-day production activities, collaborating with your team to problem-solve equipment or process related issues, maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation, PLC units and SCADA systems; and ultimately deliver on our vision to bring enjoyment and connection to everyday moments in life through the production of our iconic beverages.

Please note: For the first 12 months, this role will operate on Day Shift in a Shift Relief capacity, with a move to a 12-hour rotating roster after the initial period.

To be successful in this position you will require:

  • Certificate or Trades qualifications in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in a maintenance environment 
  • Experience in FMCG or Food manufacturing 
  • Programming skills (SCADA / PLC)
  • The ability to investigate issues, and proactively determine a solution
  • Strong communication skills, and the ability to build positive relationships with wide range of people
  • An eagerness to learn from others, and a commitment to developing your skills
  • A passion for safety, and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Support the day-to-day production schedule to achieve performance targets
  • Routine maintenance and calibration of field instrumentation, PLC units and SCADA systems
  • Investigate and participate in problem-solving for process related issues 
  • Maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and your colleagues, by committing to safety procedures and PPE requirements
  • Adapt to changing operational needs, and reliably deliver production and process work as required
