Business Development Executive – Ballarat & Surrounds

Your Impact

As a Business Development Executive, you’ll take ownership of a well-established on-premise territory across Ballarat and surrounding regions, driving distribution, volume, profitability and brand presence across our iconic multi-beverage portfolio.

Stepping into a territory with strong foundations and long-standing relationships, you’ll bring fresh energy and perspective while continuing to build meaningful partnerships across pubs, clubs and hospitality venues.

This is a highly autonomous role where your ability to connect, influence and execute will directly impact commercial outcomes and the overall success of the region.

Key Accountabilities

• Drive distribution, volume, profitability and brand execution across your territory
• Build and execute commercial plans, including promotions, pricing, range and in-venue activation
• Develop and maintain strong relationships across a diverse customer base, from local publicans to large corporate groups
• Deliver consistent call coverage across ~90–100 venues, managing an effective call cycle
• Identify growth opportunities across range, space, visibility and promotional activity
• Conduct regular business reviews to assess performance and drive continuous improvement
• Proactively solve customer and operational challenges to ensure seamless execution
• Prospect and win new business opportunities within the territory
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver the One Asahi strategy in market

About You

• Proven experience in field sales, FMCG or a similar customer-facing role
• Strong communicator who can confidently engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Natural relationship builder who creates trust and long-term partnerships
• Highly organised with strong time management and the ability to juggle multiple priorities
• Commercially minded with a problem-solving approach
• Positive, can-do attitude and thrives in a team environment
• Comfortable working autonomously across a large territory
• Ideally based in or near Ballarat (or surrounding region)
• Full driver’s licence required
