We're looking for an experienced Assistant Venue Manager to join the team. Supporting the Venue Manager, you'll help deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving operational excellence across our food and beverage offering. This is an opportunity to work within a fast-paced, high-volume environment where you'll have a genuine impact on service standards, team performance and commercial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team and frontline hospitality team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Drive the day-to-day food and beverage operations across the restaurant and bar environment.
- Manage rostering, labour planning and workforce optimisation to meet operational and financial targets.
- Monitor and improve key commercial metrics including labour costs, productivity, stock management and COGS.
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation, safety and compliance across the venue.
- Coach and support team members to build capability, engagement and high performance.
- Partner with the Venue Manager to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Be a visible and hands-on presence during busy trading periods, supporting service delivery and operational execution.
About You
- Proven experience within a high-volume restaurant, pub, bar or comparable food and beverage operation.
- Previous experience as an Assistant Venue Manager, Venue Manager, Food & Beverage Manager or similar hospitality role.
- Proven experience managing large teams and coordinating operations in a fast-paced setting.
- Strong commercial capability across rostering, labour management, wage control, stock management and COGS.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to remain calm and effective during busy service periods.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Well-developed organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
