What You’ll Do:

• Lead growth: Develop and execute funding strategies with national and multilateral donors, investors, and the private sector—leveraging market value systems to drive innovative, evidence-based solutions and unlock opportunities where resilient health and agri-food systems intersect, including emerging climate-health entry points.
• Spark innovation: Lead innovative program design leveraging new technologies, blended finance, and green economy models—promoting cross-sectoral integration with Climate, WASH, Economic Development, GEDSI, and MEAL teams to co-create holistic, multi-sectoral solutions.
• Influence change: Forge high-impact partnerships and consortia by collaborating with governments, private sector actors, research institutions, think tanks, and donors—enhancing external positioning through strategic engagement with key donors and influential networks to build credibility and drive influence.
• Amplify impact: Oversee strategic bids, tenders, and proposals aligned to WVA’s Institutional Market Growth Strategy and evolving donor priorities.
• Champion leadership: Guide and mentor a high-performing team of technical and acquisition specialists; drive technical excellence in acquisition through the development of high-quality proposals, concept notes, and strategic bids.

What You Bring:

• A passion for inclusive, community-led development.
• 5+ years in institutional fundraising or consulting, and 10+ years in senior team leadership.
• Proven success securing large-scale grants and managing complex, multi-stakeholder bids.
• Expertise in economic development, public health, or nutrition programming, ideally in a global or humanitarian setting.
• A collaborative mindset, excellent communication, and strategic foresight.
• A postgrad degree in international development, economics, public health, business or similar.
