The Position

The Integrated Marketing and Fundraising Manager will spearhead the development and execution of dynamic multi-channel marketing strategies to elevate brand awareness, engage key stakeholders, and drive support for the organisation's mission.

This includes leading Above the line (ATL), Through the line (TTL), and Below the line (BTL) campaigns to achieve key fundraising and brand campaign goals.

Acting as a strategic business partner to channel leads, this role ensures optimal performance and alignment of marketing initiatives.

You will be essential in transforming our marketing efforts into powerful, results-driven campaigns that make a significant impact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Serve as a visionary leader, driving integrated marketing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences and amplify the organisation's mission.
  • Multi-Channel Excellence: Collaborate closely with channel leads across digital, social media, PR, events, email, and direct mail to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts. Oversee and develop WVA’s flagship campaigns including 40-hour famine.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data-driven insights to optimize campaign performance, ensuring maximum engagement and desired outcomes.
  • Brand Consistency: Maintain brand consistency and messaging alignment across all marketing materials and channels.
  • Agency and Vendor Management: Oversee agency relationships and manage mail house and fulfillment contracts to ensure seamless execution of marketing initiatives.
  • Experiential Retail Activations: Lead experiential retail activations to enhance customer engagement and strengthen brand presence.

Ideal Candidate:

A strategic thinker with a passion for storytelling, audience engagement, and data-driven decision-making in a not-for-profit environment. You will possess strong project management skills, proficiency in digital marketing, and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with internal stakeholders.

You will also have:

  • Experience leading, developing and managing high performance team’s
  • 8+ years of experience in marketing (preferable)
  • Strong understanding of media buying landscaping and channels
  • Experience with marketing analytics and performance tracking tools
  • Familiarity with donor engagement strategies and CRM systems
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Passion for social impact and community-driven initiatives
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field.
