Nurse Manager – Quality Project Consultant | SALHN| Part-Time Contract

Lead quality improvement across SALHN in this part-time nursing leadership contract until October 2027.

About the role: 

The primary focus of this role is to support the delivery of key clinical governance, quality improvement, innovation, and digital transformation initiatives across the organisation. This includes coordinating projects related to patient safety, quality of care, HACs, accreditation, and other strategic improvement priorities. 

• Exercises sound judgement in identifying priorities, managing risks, resolving issues, and recommending practical solutions to support project outcomes. 
• Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation to progress work independently, while seeking guidance and escalation where appropriate.
• Supports the collection, analysis, interpretation, and reporting of data to inform decision-making, identify improvement opportunities, and monitor project outcomes. 
• Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement, service redesign, innovation, and optimisation through the analysis of data, stakeholder feedback, and organisational priorities. 

About you:

• A degree or diploma in healthcare administration, nursing, allied health, health information management, public health, or a related field is highly desirable
• Substantial work experience in a healthcare environment. 
• Familiarity with clinical coding practices and standards
• Experience in managing and validating healthcare data. 
• Proficiency in data analysis techniques and tools.
