Overview

The Enrolled Nurse plays a crucial role in supporting the Registered Nurse/Midwife in delivering person-centred care in accordance with regulatory and statutory standards. Operating within a spectrum from novice to proficient practice, Enrolled Nurses work under the guidance and supervision of Registered Nurses/Midwives. Despite this supervision, Enrolled Nurses maintain accountability for their actions and uphold responsibility for providing nursing/midwifery care.

Applicant Information

Must be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
