Overview:

The Inventory Coordinator for Health Service Support is responsible for contributing to the management of an Inventory control service within the Women’s and Children’s Hospital (WCH). This will involve assisting with the review of stock levels, product allocation and the layout of the store in conjunction with the SA Health Distribution Centre.

The key objectives for this role are:

  • Contributing to the effective management of inventory across Women’s & Childrens Hospital.
  • Expedite purchase order fulfilment from suppliers, reviewing outstanding orders daily and progressing these with the relevant suppliers.
  • Achieving stock accuracy and productivity.
  • Liaise with other internal PSCM teams to discuss product stock situation and requirements.
  • Monitor supplier performance to improve lead times and customer serviceability.
  • Ensure customer order fill rates are in line with agreed KPIs.
  • Complying with industry and regulatory inventory management standards and practices.
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of inventory control procedures and practices.
