Overview

Join our team as an Executive Assistant/Administration Officer and become the cornerstone of support for our Director of Nursing and Midwifery. Your role is pivotal in ensuring efficient and effective operations by providing comprehensive personnel and clerical support. This includes managing appointments, coordinating bookings, and overseeing the criminal history check process. You'll also play a key role in managing consumer feedback, coordinating resources, and maintaining databases with meticulous attention to detail.

Beyond administrative tasks, you'll handle the preparation and receipt of correspondence, production of publications, and the preparation of invoices and journals. Your contribution will be essential in maintaining the smooth flow of communication and administrative processes within the health unit.

Operating both collaboratively and independently, you'll uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of your work. This role is not just about administrative efficiency; it's about being a crucial link in the administrative management structure of our ward/service. Your dedication will directly support senior nursing staff, ensuring that our services continue to meet the needs of staff, medical practitioners, clients, and their families with a strong focus on customer service.

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy working 45 hours per week and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements.
