  • Total Indicative Remuneration  $403,740 - $524,650 p.a. (pro rata) - MD2*

*Total Indicative Remuneration (TIRP) includes Award Salary, remote on-call allowance, professional development, A&R Allowance, leave loading and Super.

As an ED Consultant, you will play a crucial role in delivering clinical services of the highest standard. You will respond to critical situations, manage the clinical floor, and provide guidance and training to junior staff in a supportive, multi-disciplinary environment. Your leadership will be key in ensuring our department runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality clinical care in the Emergency Department, responding to MET/Code Blue/Code Black calls.
  • Oversee day-to-day management of the clinical floor, mentoring junior team members.
  • Engage in teaching, quality assurance, and health promotion activities within the community.

Essential Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent with Specialist registration in Australia.
  • A minimum of five years' experience in a medical position within a hospital's emergency department or community health setting.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing medical and surgical emergencies.
  • Commitment to providing safe, high-quality care in line with national standards.

Applicant Information

This is a multiple position vacancy, up to Full-Time available by negotiation and remuneration will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
