About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Network Operations Centre as an Assistant in Nursing, on a Casual basis.

In this role you will support both Enrolled and Registered Nurses in the delivery of general patient/client care, and undertake basic nursing duties. 

If you are enrolled as a student in an undergraduate Nursing program (1st or 2nd year) and have completed any training required relevant to the safe and competent performance of work at this level, then we encourage you to apply.

About You

To be successful in this role, you must be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in Nursing (1st or 2nd year) and have completed any training required relevant to the safe and competent performance of work at this level.

As an Assistant in Nursing you will have:

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • The ability to provide person-centred care.
  • An understanding the role of the Assistant in Nursing within the healthcare setting.
