Occupational Therapist - Early Career Program 2025 – Riverland

The Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network (RMCLHN) Early Career Program 2025 provides a unique opportunity to develop skills and gain experience across a range of clinical areas as a Rural Generalist.
 
Under the direct supervision of an experienced AHP2 Occupational Therapist, the AHP1 Occupational Therapist will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive and integrated range of health services, appropriate to the growing needs of the local community. To achieve this, Occupational Therapists work as members of a multi-professional team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, and utilises a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment/therapy and evaluation approaches. This includes providing services to sectors such as paediatrics, acute, residential care, aged & community consumers as needed. 
 
Applicants must hold a recognised qualification within the Occupational Therapy profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the relevant Professional Association.

Clinical Rotations
 
• Acute and community – regional hospitals and outpatient clinics.
• Rehabilitation and aged care – inpatient, outpatient community rehabilitation, and residential aged care services.
• Child Health And Development (CHAD) and National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) – children, families and community disability services.

Country Health Connect focuses on the delivery of exceptional care to those living within our communities who require some support to remain living independently or reside in one of our residential aged care facilities.

Our professional and caring staff deliver health care and wellbeing support across regional South Australia in hospitals, local health services, community centres, residential aged care facilities and clients’ own homes.
