Overview

Are you a clinical expert in Dietetics looking to make a significant impact in a dynamic healthcare environment? Join the Riverland Mallee Coorong Local Health Network as the Senior Manager, Dietetics, and play a crucial role in enhancing our Allied Health services.

Key Responsibilities:

As the Senior Manager, you will:

  • Oversee the operational and professional management of the Dietetics services.
  • Lead the development of skilled, evidence-based practices within the Dietetics team.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to ensure service delivery is informed by the best available evidence.
  • Facilitate human resource processes, ensuring compliance with Clinical Supervision policies and credentialing requirements.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and support professional training across care settings.
  • Respond to workforce development needs, ensuring our communities have access to high-quality, respectful, and person-centered care "our people caring for our communities".
  • Initiate research and service quality improvements in alignment with national and state health reforms.
  • Provide clinical supervision and leadership to the Dietetics staff and collaborate with other Allied Health Senior Managers.

Essential Criteria

To be successful in this role, applicants must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association. For those professions requiring Registration, all requirements must be fulfilled to achieve and maintain current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA). For self-regulated professions, it is desirable to participate in the professional associations’ accredited continuous professional development program.

A higher qualification in a relevant area such as health service management, professional specialisation / clinical education will be highly regarded.
