About the role
- The Project manager will manage the Digital Pathology project for Anatomical Pathology including the initial scoping of systems, process mapping, workflow, procurement, and implementation.
- Consult with staff across the full range of directorates/disciplines to define the requirements and scope for digital image scanning, distribution, analysis, reporting, and storage.
- Apply high-level scientific knowledge and professional judgement to create a detailed project plan to drive digital pathology within SA Pathology.
- Work with the Digital Pathology Committee Chair/Project Lead to ensure that optimal digital imaging solutions are identified and implemented.
- Maintain comprehensive project records and prepare detailed progress reports.
- Play an active role in quality assurance, teaching, and educational activities within the laboratory, along with an on-going commitment to digital pathology.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
