About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Surgical Services team as a Nurse Consultant - ENT, where you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinate and facilitate the development and maintenance of  clinical resources for the surgical wards
  • Oversee/coordinate case management of ENT patients
  • Streamline discharge planning of ENT patients
  • Coordinate the roll out of clinical practice change/improvements in Surgical Services

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurses and/or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience
  • ENT and Surgical Nursing experience
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential.
  • Demonstrated ability in leading and promoting consumer engagement initiatives
