Nurse Practitioner (RN4)

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to bring their advanced clinical expertise and leadership to our team. Nurse Practitioner Candidate (RN3)

We are seeking a passionate and driven Nurse Practitioner Candidate to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with authorised Nurse Practitioners and Consultant Medical Officers to develop your clinical, interpersonal, and leadership skills as you progress towards becoming a fully authorised Nurse Practitioner. You’ll have the opportunity to provide expert care, make key decisions in patient diagnosis and treatment plans, and play an active role in leading nursing teams. About You

We are seeking a skilled and driven Nurse Practitioner/ Nurse Practitioner Candidate who meets the following key requirements:

  • Qualifications: Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia, with a current practicing certificate that includes the Nurse Practitioner notation. Plus for RN3 enrolled or completed an accredited Masters programme leading to authorisation as a Nurse Practitioner.
  • Experience: At least 3 years (RN4) or 5 years (RN3) of post-registration experience, with advanced practice in emergency care and a proven ability to develop policies and models of care.
  • Skills: Demonstrated leadership, autonomy, and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Strong communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills are essential, along with flexibility and creativity in health care settings.
  • Knowledge: A solid understanding of the Nurse Practitioner role, relevant legislation, and healthcare standards, as well as experience with quality improvement systems and contemporary healthcare issues.
