This is an exciting and unique opportunity to utilise your occupational therapy expertise to engage and support consumers in their own homes during an acute mental health admission.
**UNIQUE OPPORTUNITY **
Half of this role is dedicated to the delivery of evidence-based occupational therapy specific assessments, consultation and interventions with the aim to enhance recovery orientated outcomes for consumers, their families and carers. This might include sensory modulation, various assessments as clinically indicated (MOHO, cognitive assessment, functional assessment), and/ or other therapeutic intervention including clinical rehabilitation approaches. The remaining half will be to support broader care needs of the consumer as part of their HITH admission and as an embedded part of the multidisciplinary team.
You will be provided with professional supervision, support from a Senior Occupational Therapist and orientation to the service and role.
Qualifications
Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
