About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a dynamic and experienced nurse leader to join our Gastroenterology team as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager.

In this pivotal role, you will play a vital part in shaping the delivery of exceptional patient care within our dynamic Gastroenterology unit. Your leadership skills, clinical expertise, and commitment to excellence will be instrumental in fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, ensuring our patients receive the highest standard of care.

As an Associate Nurse Unit Manager, you will work closely with the Nurse Unit Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the unit, providing guidance and support to our dedicated nursing team. You will be responsible for managing staffing levels, coordinating patient flow, and ensuring adherence to best practice standards and policies.

Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will liaise with multidisciplinary teams, patients, and their families to achieve optimal outcomes.

To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
