About the role: 

Reporting to the Staff Specialist Geriatric Medicine, this role will be involved in the provision of clinical services to patients in Southern Metropolitan Adelaide. Duties for the role will include:

  • Providing appropriate direct and indirect clinical care to patients
  • Coordinating the follow up care of patients
  • Conduct of research if required

About you:

  • Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General registration (Geriatric Medicine); or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
  • Clinical experience and competence in the practice of medicine.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
  • Capacity to work harmoniously with all members of the clinical team
  • Being responsive to the expectations and needs of both clinical and non-clinical colleagues.
