About the Role:

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking compassionate and skilled Physiotherapists to join the Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service (NAGS). This is an opportunity to embark on a rewarding career that positively impacts the lives of our elderly community.

As a Rotational Physiotherapist within the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN), you'll be responsible for providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to geriatric patients across multiple sites in the northern suburbs of Adelaide. Your role will involve conducting thorough assessments, developing tailored treatment plans, and empowering patients to achieve their optimal physical and functional abilities. You will have the opportunity to work within the Acute Care of the Elderly (ACE) Unit and the Geriatric Rehabilitation Unit across the Northern Adelaide Geriatric Service, with 6 monthly rotations. 

To be eligible for this position, you must hold an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

Our Local Health Network Sites and Services:

Lyell McEwin Hospital – The major hospital in the north and north-east for emergency care, complex and multi-day surgery, medicine, obstetrics, paediatrics and outpatient services.

Modbury Hospital – A general hospital with emergency care, elective surgery, medicine, outpatient and sub-acute services, rehabilitation, geriatric and palliative care.
