Waikerie Health Service provides acute services ranging from in-hospital care for adults and children by local general practitioners to obstetrics, outpatients and aged care beds. Accident & Emergency Services are provided 24 hours a day, seven days per week, and residential aged care facilities are at the adjoining Waikerie Multi-Purpose Service.

About the Role:

We are looking for enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled Nurses to join our dedicated nursing team at Waikerie Health Service, providing person-centred care to our patients/clients and the wider community.

As an Enrolled Nurse and working under supervision of a Registered Nurse/Midwife, you will assist in providing professional high quality nursing care aimed at improving patient health outcomes. This is achieved by maintaining cooperative and productive working relationships with all members of the health care team, implementing appropriate nursing care and assist with general and specialised procedures from nursing care plans.

What We’re Looking For:

• Enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Experience in the provision of nursing care in the healthcare setting in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.

Applicant Information

Multiple ongoing part-time and full-time contracts available, hours to be negotiated and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check and appropriate immunisation requirements:

• DHS Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• DHS National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) Worker Check
• National Police Certificate (NPC) for employment involving unsupervised contact with vulnerable groups required for this position (E.g. aged care employment or work involving vulnerable clients)
• Immunisation Risk for this position is - Category A
