About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Clinical Nurse, who is passionate about contributing to the wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders communities, to join the Watto Purrunna Aboriginal Health Service.
This position offers a unique chance to work in a culturally diverse environment, providing comprehensive healthcare services to Aboriginal people from rural and remote areas of South Australia and interstate.
Kanggawodli is a purpose-built facility providing culturally appropriate accommodation and support to Aboriginal clients from rural and remote SA and interstate who are in Adelaide for medical appointments and/or treatment and their carers or escorts.
As a Clinical Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in delivering culturally appropriate care and support to Aboriginal clients and their carers or escorts. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality of care during their medical appointments and treatments in Adelaide.
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
