About the role
We are looking for dedicated Senior Pharmacists to lead the organisation, management, and operations within the designated pharmacy area initially within the sub-acute services based at the Repat Health Precinct. This role is integral to the delivery of a comprehensive range of high-level pharmacy services, where you’ll exercise independent judgement to provide precise medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, as well as to medical, nursing, and allied health professionals. Adhering to hospital and divisional policies, you will ensure that all services align with professional standards and guidelines, contributing to the highest quality of pharmacy practice and patient care.
As Senior Pharmacist, you will play a key role in optimising patient outcomes by implementing strategies that promote the safe, cost-effective, and quality use of pharmaceuticals. This involves collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure best practices in medication management and contributing your expertise to achieve optimal therapeutic results for patients. This role is ideal for a pharmacist with a commitment to excellence, autonomy, and leadership in clinical pharmacy, ready to make a meaningful impact within a dynamic hospital environment.

Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
