Overview:

The Manager Health Service Support is accountable to the Executive Director/ Chief Procurement Officer for leading the operations and staff undertaking Supply Chain activities relating to warehousing & impresting across a cluster of Hospitals/LHN/Health Services within SA Health.

The Manager Health Service Support will be responsible for leading and driving a team of supply chain professionals, whilst being the primary interface for customers. This role will involve ensuring warehousing & impresting activities are provided in an efficient manner to meet existing & future KPIs and holding the team accountable for delivery against customer expectations, at the same time seeking opportunities to offer additional value and process efficiency improvements.

The key responsibilities for this role are:

• Ensuring the efficient and effective operation of warehouses and impresting services within a cluster of Hospitals/LHN/Health Services that meets agreed KPIs and SA Health objectives.
• Ensuring services provided for supply chain Hospital Services is in line with agreed service and quality levels including hospital accreditation standards.
• Ensuring that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
• Effectively promote, communicate and influence customers and stakeholders in relation to Supply Chain Management policy, process and process improvements.
• Identify and lead projects to continually provide value for money and improve health care services through efficient delivery of warehousing & impresting services.
• Ensuring Work, Health and Safety standards are achieved and ensuring security of warehouses is maintained.
