About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Allied Health and Aboriginal Liaison team as a Paediatric Audiologist - Behavioural Clinical Lead. The role is responsible for the assessment, diagnosis, and management of hearing and auditory disorders in patients. This role involves working closely with infants, children, and their families to provide specialised care, ensuring that patients with hearing impairments receive the appropriate interventions. The Paediatric Audiologist - Behavioural Clinical Lead will also be involved in training, mentoring and supervising other paediatric audiologists and supporting clinical research related to paediatric audiology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a contemporary understanding of child development, ear health, pathology, screening and diagnostic assessments
- Create partnerships and clinical networks to ensure effective transition of children to the most appropriate level of care and support
- Prepare and manage clinical rosters and schedules in line with clinical demands and skills
- Liaise and build partnerships with the community, stakeholders and other networks
