About the role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead the organisation, management, and operations of Clinical Education within our LHN. In this dynamic role, you will deliver a high-level range of pharmacy services, exercising independent and autonomous judgment while providing medicines information and therapeutic advice to patients, medical and nursing staff, and other health professionals. Your expertise will ensure our pharmacy services align with hospital policies, divisional procedures, and professional standards, contributing to the highest level of care for our patients.
As a Senior Pharmacist, you will play a pivotal role in optimising patient outcomes through the quality use of pharmaceuticals and training, development and education of our pharmacy staff. By implementing safe, effective, and cost-conscious strategies, you will support our commitment to best practices in healthcare. Essential Requirements:
- Current National Police Clearance (NPC)
- Working With Children Check (DHS)
- Immunisation screening as indicated in the role description. SA Health Services are required to implement the Addressing vaccine preventable disease: Occupational assessment, screening and vaccination policy in the workplace.
Educational/Vocational Qualifications
- Bachelor of Pharmacy or equivalent
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
