About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the Physiotherapy team as the Head of Unit, Women's Health where you will:
- Serve as a specialist clinician in the physiotherapy management of obstetric and gynecological patients within the Women’s and Children’s Health Network (WCHN).
- Provide day-to-day leadership of the Women’s Health Physiotherapy Unit.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement obstetric and gynecological physiotherapy services for women.
- Ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and optimal care for patients.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
- Experience working within an acute setting in the management of obstetric and gynaecological conditions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to lead a team and foster good working relationships both internally and externally
- Experience in the coordination of workloads for a team and supervision and teaching of staff and students
