About the Opportunity

We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the CaFHS team as a Nurse Consultant, where you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the implementation, coordination, and evaluation of the place-based CHDC initiative, assess program outcomes, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Co-designing a standardised service delivery model to support the expansion of the CHDC initiatives across South Australia.
  • Providing clinical oversite and support CaFHS clinicians to deliver CHDC programs in a variety of settings.
  • Sustaining a working partnership with stakeholders, providing feedback and reporting on program outcomes, while collaborating with regional team managers and service partners and consumers to facilitate service improvement activities that achieve project outcomes.
  • Strengthening pathways for families to access the services that support their child’s health and development needs.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse and or Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards.
  • Effective leadership skills including highly developed skills in communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a workplace environment that develops staff potential
  • Demonstrated ability in the leadership and facilitation of change management.
