About the Role
Are you a passionate and experienced Clinical Nurse looking for a rewarding role in a dynamic healthcare environment? We are seeking a dedicated professional to provide high-quality nursing services across a variety of health service settings. As a Clinical Nurse, you will use your expertise to deliver exceptional patient care, continually developing from a competent to proficient practitioner. You will be accountable for maintaining high practice standards, overseeing delegated activities, and guiding less experienced staff in their professional growth. This role remains predominantly clinical but also offers opportunities for career development through assigned portfolio responsibilities, tailored to your skills and aspirations.
In this role, you will join the Outpatient Anaesthetic Triage Services (OATS) team, working closely with the Anaesthetic Medical Team to assess and triage patients for day-of-surgery anaesthetic evaluations. Your specialised knowledge will be critical in determining the most appropriate preoperative assessment pathway based on patient-reported risk factors, using established OATS decision-making algorithms. You will play a vital role in optimising patient safety and surgical readiness, with support from an anaesthetic consultant when required. If you thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment and are committed to excellence in patient care, we would love to hear from you!
