Overview

Fantastic opportunity to join a small supportive and dedicated health care team in the beautiful rural town of Kimba where you will contribute towards strengthening and enhancing hospital care and improving the health of the local community.

Working under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, you will make decisions and take initiative to plan and complete nursing care tasks within your scope of practice.  Your duties will encompass providing education to patients, families and carers, contributing to research as appropriate while continuing own professional development, seeking learning opportunities and maintaining own professional development portfolio of learning and experience. 

Eligibility

Applicants must be enrolled or eligible for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practice certificate with previous experience in providing nursing care in the healthcare setting.
