SA Health, one of Australia's leading healthcare providers, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Nurse/Midwife Educator Student Facilitator to join our team on a part-time, temporary contract basis.
In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to utilise your clinical knowledge and expertise to provide a corporate support service to nursing and midwifery practice. This may include, but is not limited to, the provision of a range of education, training, learning experiences, and materials to support nursing and midwifery students on placement.
As a Nurse/Midwife Educator Student Facilitator, you will be responsible for addressing inconsistencies between practice and policy, contributing to a safe and positive work culture, and ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients and clients. You will work within the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network, supporting various practice models, including providing education and training support to specific wards, units, or service programs, as well as coordinating and leading student placements and facilitation.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have experience in nursing or midwifery student facilitation, rostering, using ProAct, and HR recruitment. You will also be required to be a registered or eligible-to-be-registered nurse or midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and hold a current practising certificate.
