We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Vascular Fellow to join our team at Flinders Medical Centre in Adelaide's thriving southern metropolitan area. This position offers an exceptional opportunity for professional growth and career advancement within our world-class healthcare network.
About the role:
As a Vascular Fellow, you will be part of a dedicated and supportive environment, working alongside renowned specialists in the field of vascular surgery. This role will challenge you to expand your knowledge, refine your skills, and contribute to the delivery of exceptional patient care
You will be responsible for the provision of high-quality care to patients in the wards, emergency department, outpatients, investigational and procedural areas. Responsibilities of this role may involve:
- Teaching and supporting registrars, junior medical officers and medical students.
- Scheduling elective theatre cases in partnership with the admissions office.
- Coordinating consultant-led patient care through rigorous communication channels with registrars and RMOs
- Active participation in departmental audit and research activity.
About you:
- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent
- Registrable with the Medical Board Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
- A commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families.
- Ability to supervise more junior medical staff.
