About the Role:

Are you a dynamic and experienced professional with a passion for driving transformative change? The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking a Lead Project and Improvement Facilitator to join our team within the Project and Improvement Office.

The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is a leading provider of public healthcare services in South Australia.

In this challenging and rewarding role, you will play a pivotal part in identifying, designing and implementing strategic initiatives that enhance the quality, efficiency and effectiveness of our healthcare services. As a key member of our team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various disciplines, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.

To succeed in this position, you will need to possess exceptional project management skills, coupled with a deep understanding of lean principles, process improvement methodologies and change management strategies. Your ability to lead cross-functional teams, navigate complex environments and effectively communicate with diverse audiences will be essential.

To be eligible for this position as a Registered Nurse, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.

To be eligible for this position as an Allied Health Professional, you must hold an appropriate degree or equivalent qualification for one of the following Allied Health disciplines working in the service, specifically:

  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification, usually in human movements, inclusive of the exercise physiology elective and eligible for accreditation from Exercise Sports Science Australia (ESSA).
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia (DAA).
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration with the Podiatry Board of Australia.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
  • Appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which gives eligibility for full membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
