Are you an experienced clinician with a passion for delivering high-quality social work services? We are looking for a dedicated Senior Social Worker to take on a leadership role in our multidisciplinary team. This is an opportunity to apply your expertise in a rural and remote healthcare setting and make a meaningful impact on the lives of individuals across the Riverland Mallee Coorong Rural Region.
About the Role:
As a Senior Social Worker, you will be an integral part of a team dedicated to delivering comprehensive social work services in a variety of settings. You will leverage your clinical expertise and leadership skills to oversee and improve the quality of social work services across the region, ensuring that they meet the diverse needs of the community. In this role, you will serve as a mentor and clinical supervisor for less experienced social workers, providing guidance and support while promoting their professional development.
In addition to your clinical duties, you will have the opportunity to lead initiatives within the Riverland Mallee Coorong Regional Social Work Network, contributing to the ongoing enhancement of service delivery through research, evaluation, and collaboration. Your leadership will extend to representing RMCLHN on key committees, managing specialized projects, and driving service improvements across the region.
This position offers the chance to play a key role in shaping the future of social work services in the area while providing support to a dynamic team committed to improving health outcomes in rural and remote communities.
What We’re Looking For:
- Must hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work profession and be eligible for full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). As a self-regulated profession, it is desirable to participate in the AASW Continuing Professional Education (CPE) Accreditation program.

Applicant Information
This is a part time vacancy, working 67.5 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
