Join our Ophthalmology Team
Support high-quality Ophthalmic care within Southern Adelaide.
About the role:
Reporting to the Head of Unit within Ophthalmology this role is will be involved in the acute management of ophthalmic disease. Duties for the role will include:
- Appropriate triage of primary care referrals
- teaching of paraclinical staff and medical students in the clinic setting.
- This role will also be exposed to consultant led speciality clinics and some limited exposure to ophthalmic surgery.
About you:
- You must hold a bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and be registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
- Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
- A commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families.
- Ability to work as a member of a team.
