Join our Ophthalmology Team

Support high-quality Ophthalmic care within Southern Adelaide.

About the role: 

Reporting to the Head of Unit within Ophthalmology this role is will be involved in the acute management of ophthalmic disease. Duties for the role will include:

• Appropriate triage of primary care referrals
• teaching of paraclinical staff and medical students in the clinic setting. 
• This role will also be exposed to consultant led speciality clinics and some limited exposure to ophthalmic surgery. 

About you:

• You must hold a bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent and be registerable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of people including colleagues and other professional staff.
• A commitment to providing a quality service to patients and their families.
• Ability to work as a member of a team.
