Overview:

The Manager, Intergovernment Relations and Policy will support the delivery of the Strategy & Intergovernment Relations work program through the provision of expert advice and support in the delivery of complex policy and strategy that will require an interface with multiple stakeholders.

The Manager, Intergovernment Relations and Policy, with emphasis on leadership, management and strategic analysis of national health system, will:

  • Significantly contribute to and lead negotiations on policy and associated financial arrangements with Commonwealth officials as part of the Intergovernment Relations Team.
  • Undertake advanced, high-level, policy analysis and provide strategic advice on complex multi-faceted issues related to the Intergovernment Relations work program.
  • Provide expert, high-level support and advice to senior executives, including through the development of Chief Executive and Ministerial briefings, Cabinet Submissions, Parliamentary advice, governance frameworks, and policies and procedures.
  • Lead staff and contribute to the management of the Intergovernment Relations work program.
