  • Permanent Part-time position working 32 hours per week, over a 7 day roster

Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for anyone looking to join a team that prides itself on having a patient / resident-centred care approach to services. The successful candidate will be supported by a strong facility and regional management team.

You will be responsible for providing a timely, efficient and effective service that involves the personal Laundry, catering and cleaning of the Kapunda and Eudunda Health Services. Your duties may include the preparation, service and delivery of food to clients, and general housekeeping. You will be required to undertake personal laundry duties for the residents . Maintaining a high level of cleanliness throughout the health service, you will undertake mopping, dusting, polishing, washing, sweeping and vacuuming of floors, window cleaning, cleaning of toilets, bed making, and rubbish collection, removal and disposal. In the catering area you will undertake preparation of vegetables, meat, salads and sandwiches, prepare breakfast trolleys, and deliver food to patients. With some experience in the areas of housekeeping, cooking/catering and laundry, you will need to have basic knowledge of safe working conditions and a commitment to providing high quality customer service. With a flexible approach to work and rostering systems, you will be able to work alone or within a team environment, and work within set timeframes. You will be willing to provide assistance and cooperation to other staff, and perform under general direction or work under limited supervision. At all times you will be committed to using discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality.
