About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Pharmacist to lead the organisation, management, and daily operations of our designated pharmacy area. In this pivotal role, you will provide a high-level, comprehensive range of pharmacy services, drawing on your expertise to offer independent and autonomous judgement across medicines information, therapeutic advice, and clinical decision-making. You’ll be working collaboratively with patients, medical and nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, ensuring your contribution supports the delivery of exceptional care and aligns with professional standards, hospital policies, and divisional procedures.
As a Senior Pharmacist, you’ll play a vital role in optimising patient outcomes through safe, evidence-based, and cost-effective use of medicines. Hold a Bachelor of Pharmacy (or equivalent) and are registered or eligible for registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia

Possess strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to guide and support multidisciplinary teams

Bring extensive hospital pharmacy experience, with a solid understanding of relevant professional standards and best practice guidelines

Demonstrate a proactive approach to improving service delivery through research, data analysis, and strategic development
