Overview

The Manager, Industrial Relations is accountable to the Director Workforce Safety and Culture Rural Support Service (RSS) for leading and managing industrial relations functions and providing a high level of strategic industrial and employee relations advice and services to the RSS and six regional Local Health Networks (LHNs) which result in best practice workforce management and development.

The Manager, Industrial Relations leads industrial relations projects, ensures the effective management of industrial risk and contributes to workforce policy and procedure development, implementation and evaluation.

The role will establish strong and trusted working relationships with leaders and senior managers within the RSS as well as the six regional LHNs and other relevant stakeholder organisations.
