About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity to join the New WCH Project Team as a Clinical and Operations Project Lead, where you will be responsible for:
- Providing high-level support to the Executive Director – New WCH and Project Managers in planning and delivering the New WCH Project to support the strategic direction of the Women’s and Children’s Network.
- Supporting strategic and operational objectives in health service and facility planning, and in monitoring and evaluating services for the New WCH.
- Providing leadership expertise informed by clinical and clinical support roles through engaging in project user groups and strategic user groups.
- Supporting the translation of clinician, staff, consumer and community engagement strategies into practice.
- Leading key projects to ensure the New WCH project improves equity of health care access, better integrates care, and enhances health outcomes for the community.
- Leading and supporting a culture of clinical excellence and high performance across all areas of the network to inform planning for the New WCH.
- Developing strategies to support WCHN in maximising operational efficiency and ensuring operational readiness activities.
- Creating together our values to empower and engage with staff and volunteers in embodying our vision and mission to provide excellent care for our community.
- Championing change management and providing support and leadership
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Appropriate Allied Health degree or equivalent qualification in relevant professional stream.
- Registered or eligible for registration/membership as an Allied Health Professional with the relevant registration board or association where applicable.
- Experience as a leader or manager in the health care industry
- Demonstrated strategic thinker with leadership skills and abilities to lead and motive the multidisciplinary team through the complexity of challenges, uncertainty and rapid change so that effective outcomes are achieved.
- Proven experience in managing and leading complex projects
- Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving abilities with the demonstrated characteristics of being a responsive decision maker, negotiator and resolver of conflict to a high level.
- Capacity to drive and implement change and significantly contribute to change processes applying sound analytical skills and strategic thinking ability.
