About the Role:
As a Direct Care Worker (Community), you’ll play a vital role in empowering older adults, frail individuals, and those with disabilities to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes. Working closely with a dedicated team of Community Health professionals, you’ll provide compassionate, hands-on support while being accountable to the Community Care Coordinator. This collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who need it most.
What We’re Looking For:
WHA5
- Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and at least 560 hours satisfactory in-service experience.
- Completed at least 560 hours satisfactory in-service experience.
- Proven experience in exercising own judgment and initiative in the day-to-day execution of a position.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of a direct care service in a health-related field.
- Demonstrated experience in dealing with aged, frail or disabled persons.
- Experience in the use of computer packages eg. Microsoft Word, Excel.
WHA3
