About the role

As a Project Support Officer at SA Pathology, you’ll play a key role in supporting the successful delivery of strategic and operational initiatives across the organisation. Working within the Strategy and Business Improvement Office, you’ll provide high-quality administrative and project coordination support, assisting with planning, documentation, tracking, and communication of project activities. This role offers a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful improvements that enhance healthcare services across South Australia.

Reporting to the Manager, Strategy and Business Improvement, you’ll collaborate closely with executives, stakeholders, and project teams in a fast-paced and evolving environment. Your ability to stay organised, monitor project progress, and ensure effective information sharing will directly support efficient decision-making and timely delivery of outcomes. This is a dynamic position for someone who enjoys variety, values precision, and thrives in a supportive and purpose-driven team.

About You

You are a highly organised and proactive professional with a strong background in project coordination and administrative support. Your excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities make you a reliable and valued team member in fast-paced environments.

  • Proven experience supporting projects or executives in complex environments, using your initiative and judgement to solve problems and meet deadlines.

  • Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to coordinate meetings, manage diaries, track communications, and maintain accurate documentation.

  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with a high level of competency in document quality control, data entry, and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Demonstrated professionalism in handling confidential information, applying WHS and EEO principles, and contributing to a high-quality, customer-focused service culture.
