About the Role
Join the South Australian Prison Health Service (SAPHS) and contribute to delivering high-quality health care services across South Australia's correctional facilities. As part of Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN), SAPHS provides essential primary health care to incarcerated adults, working alongside Mental Health Services and Drug and Alcohol Services to support patients with complex needs. As an Administrative Services Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our health services. Reporting to the Administration Services Lead and working closely with the site Nurse Unit Manager, you will be responsible for a wide range of administrative duties, including patient administration, reception services, and maintaining confidential client records. With a strong focus on customer service and confidentiality, you will also manage correspondence, coordinate the transfer of medical records, and assist with other administrative tasks as required. You bring experience in delivering high-level customer service within a multidisciplinary team, utilising Microsoft Office programs and patient information systems to support administrative functions.

You possess a sound knowledge of health information systems, data entry processes, and records management standards, including State Records legislative requirements.

You are highly organised, flexible, and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities, work collaboratively in a team environment, and meet tight deadlines.
