Exciting Career Opportunity: Clinical Nurse - Practice Nurse!

Are you passionate about delivering compassionate, person-centred care? We are seeking a dedicated Clinical Nurse - Practice Nurse to join our team and play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing and midwifery services across a variety of health settings.

As a Clinical Nurse - Practice Nurse, you will bring consolidated experience and/or further study to deliver care with competence and proficiency. You will accept accountability for your own practice standards, delegate tasks responsibly, and support the guidance and development of less experienced staff.

This role also involves providing key support to the Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager in leading the nursing/midwifery team within the ward, unit, or service. Your contributions will be essential in promoting continuity and consistency of care, assisting with practice changes, and supporting management responsibilities such as performance management, recruitment, staffing, rostering, and resource planning.

What We're Looking For:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse/Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years post registration experience or currently classified as a Clinical Nurse/Midwife.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Experience in the supervision of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
  • Experience in Leadership and management roles.

Applicant Information

This is a part time vacancy, working 64 hours per fortnight and salary will be adjusted according to actual hours worked.
