About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Physiotherapist to join our specialist multidisciplinary team at the Central Adelaide Local Health Network (CALHN). In this key role, you will deliver advanced physiotherapy services within a defined clinical area, such as ICU or Surgery, supporting patients with complex needs. You’ll manage your own clinical caseload while also providing expert consultancy and contributing to high-level decision-making within the team.

As a senior clinician, you’ll play a vital role in mentoring junior staff and students, leading education initiatives, and supporting continuous service improvement. This position includes regular weekend work as part of a 7-day roster, ensuring continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes. If you’re passionate about delivering exceptional care and driving innovation in physiotherapy practice, we invite you to be part of our dynamic and supportive team.

About You

You’re a driven and compassionate physiotherapist with a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care. You bring not only clinical expertise but also strong leadership and teamwork skills to every aspect of your role.

  • Qualified and registered – You hold a degree in physiotherapy (or equivalent) and are registered with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia.

  • Experienced and confident – You have substantial recent experience in your clinical specialty, can manage complex cases independently, and contribute at a senior clinician level.

  • Skilled and adaptable – You possess advanced clinical knowledge, communication, and organisational skills, and are capable of providing high-level care across varied and sometimes demanding situations.

  • Collaborative and professional – You lead by example within multidisciplinary teams, are committed to ongoing professional development, and respond flexibly and ethically to the needs of the service.
